Sometimes even two wheels take over a four wheel show.
When the bulb lights, garlic lovers will follow their noses. We hope to see you at the Gilroy Garlic Festival next Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
For sure, Gil will be hanging around there … his favorite ice-cream is being served.

My little buddy Gil decided to sneak out and ‘sniff’ around before the Gilroy Garlic Festival gets here! Where in the World did my Little Buddy Go?
So asks a tearful Pam Gimenez, of the Gilroy Welcome Center, in a Gilligan’s Island skipperish voice.
Pam works very close to Gil. Besides being a source of infinite information of all things Gilroyan, Pam is Gil’s close confidant. Gil has told Pam some very spicy stories indeed.
Did you know for instance that Gil was almost voted the most interesting man in the world? He lost the title by a clove because the judging panel felt that the world was not quite ready for a bulb of his taste. The resulting outcry from fans almost culminated in the Summer Garlic Breath Uprising until Gil magnanimously stepped aside, donned a pair of sunglasses and very gentlebulbly sat out the contest while avoiding the paparazzi.
Pam knows that Gil’s popularity will probably make him easy to find - not to mention that his cologne is a distinctive blend sought out by the fashionista from Milan to Tokyo.
Beneath his first layer of skin is just a bulb looking for fun. As Gil would say, “Stay spicy my friends.”
